Moving forward in our series on how to get started in handgun hunting, this episode is all about optics. Heath and Ryan discuss options for sights, red dots, and pistol scopes. Ryan interviews Ernie Bishop, who is well known in the long-range pistol community. Ernie puts on a shooting competition, WYSHOT, where competitors shoot at steel targets at 1400 yards and beyond using specialty pistols. Most of these pistols carry rifle scopes, so we discuss putting rifle scopes on handguns.
